ABOUT THE CELL

Training and Placement cell at RNSIT was established in the year 2002 and is headed by the Training and Placement Officer, Prof. V. Umesh. With effect from the year 2004-2005, training programmes are being formulated for all semesters to enhance the capabilities of the students and improve their placement prospects.

A committee of 16 elite students from different branches has been formed to co-ordinate various activities of Training and Placement cell. Further, an Advisory Committee has also been formed having the Director as the Chairman of the committee, Principal as Vice Chairman and Training and Placement officer as the Convener.

Meetings are held at the end of each semester to take stock of the achievement and constraints of the training and placement activities.
